Firstly, Rodney Shirtbutton is a name I made up because I was just being a bit daft and jokey when I first opened a Google account years ago and I never got round to changing it - but now it's quite useful to have a pseudonym on here as I, as do many others who have hypnotherapy, don't want everyone knowing about it.Let's face it - Louise Squires is fantastic - down-to-earth, easy to talk to and very, very skilled at what she does. One session and I'd stopped self-harming and stopped eating all the sweeties in the office. I had other goals too, but these are to do with personal ambitions to do with skills I want to learn that will take some time to achieve, hypnosis or no hypnosis .But I'm definitely finding more joy in life now. Prior to hypnotherapy, I liked my job, now I love it. I'm filtering out all the negativity from my life, and I'm generally more positive. I'm less angry about things that have gone wrong in the past, and that anger was stopping me putting things right. I'm definitely thinking intellectually rather than emotionally these days, and it's all thanks to Louise.If hypnotherapy was as mainstream as it should be and not something that people want to keep secret due to wanting to avoid awkward questions due to ignorance on the topic, then I strongly feel that Louise would have many, many more reviews on here - and they'd all be very positive.Thank you, once again.

One of my work friends recommended Louise as she’s had hypnosis with her for anxiety.I had a problem with binge eating chocolate and crisps and I was out of control.Quite quickly, I learned the reasons why I was doing what I was doing and it wasn’t my lack of willpower or gluttony.Louise helped me to understand what was happening in my brain and the hypnotherapy helped me to change my behaviour and relationships with food.I’ve now lost weight, I feel much more confident and positive. I’m now having hypnosis for my spider phobia!

I’ve been feeling really low and struggling with life recently. I had a consultation with Louise and she explained the reasons why I was feeling anxiety and stress.I didn’t think there was a way of changing how I was feeling and didn’t immediately think that hypnotherapy would be the answer.I have now had 4 sessions of hypnosis with Louise and I am feeling so much better. This has helped me to see my anxiety as something I can control, as well as the anger, depression and rage.A very pleasant and relaxing experience!

I have just completed four sessions of hypnotherapy for my phobia of sickness. This is something that has affected me for my entire life.Now I have children, I found that it affected me even more, as I would lie awake worrying if one of them was going to be sick and how I would cope.Louise has helped me to overcome my fear, I now sleep at night, with no worries or anxiety.This has completely changed how I think and feel and my life is so much better now. I would recommend this type of therapy for anyone suffering with a severe phobia and it does not involve being exposed to the phobia which was one of my biggest fears!
