I had for many years experienced broken sleep and the inability to get off to sleep. After a period of ill health, I considered that my non sleeping was contributing to my overall health problems and making me more vulnerable to illness.
Before my first visit to Emma I had no idea what to expect but the experience of working together was enlightening. Being able to understand how the brain and body copes with stress, perceived or real, was very helpful. Also, the explanation of the dreaded stress bucket and the need to lessen the contents! Since working with Emma my sleep pattern has improved and will I feel continue to get better. My attitude to rest has changed and I take more opportunities to just sit down. Just chatting through my daily life made me realise I was always on the go.
