Hypnotherapy for Panic Attacks

Before working with Ali I was suffering from an increasing number of panic attacks as well as other unpleasant physical symptoms after a stressful 12 months. I was not sleeping well at all and experiencing real problems with some of the people in my life. I was often tired and irritable and the panic attacks were stopping me from doing the things I wanted to do.

I chose to visit a hypnotherapist because I felt the panic attacks were taking over my life but I wanted proactive therapy without dwelling on the past.

Working with Ali was both a pleasure and a relief from anxiety. It was good to know the reasons behind the panic attacks and I quickly felt the benefits of the relaxation tape and my visits.

Since working with Ali I have felt much happier and in control of my life. I am able to set boundaries with other people in my life which has improved my relationships. I am still taken aback by the progress I have made on a daily basis – the other day I met someone who had previously been a real ‘thorn in my flesh’ and I was able to deal with him and his sarcastic comments without thinking. I also surprised myself by picking up several (smallish) spiders – I suffer from Arachnophobia!

There have been some very immediate and powerful results after my sessions with Ali which can only be a tribute to the work we do and the power of visualisation. I am hopeful that I have the tools to deal with future stressful events or just day to day problems and if it gets too much I will schedule a further ‘top-up’ with Ali.

To anyone thinking of using Ali for hypnotherapy, I would say speak to her on the phone, I knew immediately that she was the person who could help me overcome my issues. You will enjoy the sessions and come to look forward to the time when it’s all about you.
