Who I work with

At Inspired to Change I work with people who are experiencing an emotional or physical issue which is holding them back or who are struggling to cope with life’s challenges and adapting to change. Often they have tried other approaches to move forward but ultimately they still feel unhappy or stuck. People just like you.

Regardless of what brings people to see us they all have one thing in common:

  • They are motivated to get better, cope better or be better
  • They are ready to get their lives on track
  • They are inspired to change

And that is what I am passionate about and skilled at helping people to do!

In addition to the many different issues that the solution focused approach is effective at helping my personal passion is helping people with Anxiety, Stress, Confidence and Phobias, as well as working with teenagers.

On top of being overall a lovely person, Keeley gave me the tools to finally feel genuine confidence and serenity. Life still comes with its challenges, but it doesn't feel as heavy and I am now able to quickly find balance again. I initially started the therapy for a concrete issue, but ended up with benefits on all fronts of life.Response from the ownerThank you for leaving this wonderful review. It was such a pleasure working with you and to see the changes in so many areas of you life.Thank you Jessica M.Jessica M. ★★★★★ I have wanted to share my experiences with Keeley Smith's hypnotherapy services for a while now and am finally glad I am able to share. My sessions with her have been truly the most amazing weekly meetings ever. The way that I view life has completely changed all thanks to Keeley. She really helped me change the way I think about my anxieties, as well as providing fun and interactive ways to learn about how the brain works, but through simplistic diagrams and teachings that anyone is able to pick up and understand. It really felts like an insight into my brain, and by including brief information about the science behind stress, anxiety and depression, Keeley really allowed me to gain an insight into what was happening inside my head and also how to begin solving the issue. I strongly urge everyone and anyone who will listen to attend hypnotherapy sessions with her, simply because of her brilliant, friendly relations with her clients, as well as her enthusiastic, bright character. Truly a wonderfully positive outcome for me, and I will take the many lessons I have learnt, all throughout my life. A brilliant lady and an even more incredible therapist. Highly, highly recommend.Response from the ownerThank you for the wonderful review, Jess. It was such a pleasure to work with you and see the progress you made. So great to hear that you are taking what you learnt, and applying this throughout your life moving forward.Thank you for being a wonderful client! Kevin H.Kevin H. ★★★★★ I watched Keeley talk through aspects of hypnotherapy (admittedly with a little scepticism) with Sarah from Club One Hundred. At this time, I was mentally demotivated. Every problem I had in my brain, some current, and many from the mid to distant past replayed in my head, causing me insurmountable stress, during the day, often at night, and many times when a new problem arose. I describe as carrying a Hod, and half or full bricks being added over time, without the Hod being emptied, until a collapse. The experience was multi fold. First of all, the confidence and almost matter of fact approach to what I needed to do was surprising, I expected a wishy washy talk through your feelings set up. Not at all, the experience Keeley had was clear, the trajectory laid out, and the information was not just experience based, but also science based. This to a large extent took my thought processes from a ‘it’s all my fault I can’t manage this’ to a ‘mechanical cause and effect’ understanding of why I am not managing my thoughts and suffering the fallout of that. There was also the anticipated, understanding approach, gentle guidance on small steps growth and reinforcement of things I was applying well in each session. The results are amazing. Whilst I don’t think I can rest on managing my thought patterns, I now know how to do this, from knowing how to quickly dispel from my thoughts those negative historical actions that I can no longer change and no longer matter to understanding what a thought pattern really is and choosing how I now want that pattern to form.I also understand how to change my thoughts from, ‘oh god, that’s annoying/ridiculous/unfair/ impossible/and all other negative judgements/frustrations, into, well that happened, ‘I will make sure I don’t do that again by…’/‘what good can come out of that’/ ‘to change that thought to what I will do is….’/ ‘worrying about that has no value to me’.There are so many other examples, I can’t list them all. I know I am far, far happier with myself, I know I still have to keep diligent and not slip into allowing negative thoughts to fester, but keep changing how that thought sits and how to either dismiss it or make it work for me.It took me several weeks to pluck up courage to call Keeley, the value for money is unmeasurable. I spend a lot on physical training, (gyms etc), but life needs the head to be thinking in a fit way. This is not counselling, I have done that, and whilst that may release some honesty to yourself, this is the road to facilitate your mind working in a better way. This has emotional and physical benefits. I have my motivation back, self-drive, and belief that future (and current) challenges will no longer bring me down. They will be there for sure, but I understand fully how the mind mechanisms work, and how I oil those mechanisms to work for my benefit, not detriment. In short, if you’re thinking about using hypnotherapy, do it, you will reap the rewards, it took me 6 sessions, but I did buy into it wholeheartedly from day 1.js_loader
