with Claire Noyelle
Are you feeling stressed or anxious
Have you lost your confidence or self esteem?
Does life often feel overwhelming?
Do you wish you could find a better way to cope?
If you nodded to any of these questions you’re in the right place
At Inspired to Change I work with people who are experiencing an emotional or physical issue which is holding them back or who are struggling to cope with life’s challenges and adapting to change. Often they have tried other approaches to move forward but ultimately they still feel unhappy or stuck. People just like you.
Regardless of what brings people to see us they all have one thing in common:
- They are motivated to get better, cope better or be better
- They are ready to get their lives on track
- They are inspired to change
And that is what I am passionate about and skilled at helping people to do!
In addition to the many different issues that the solution focused approach is effective at helping my personal passion is helping people with Anxiety, Phobias, Confidence and Medication Reduction. I am also experienced at working with teenagers and young people.
As the Mum of three children, including one with additional needs, I specialise in working with teenagers and young people including those with diagnoses such as ASD.
Using practical tools and techniques based on neuroscience, I work together with my clients to strengthen their confidence, their resilience and their self esteem, empowering them to unlock their full potential at home, at school and socially.
Also, as a pharmacist, I am uniquely placed to help those wanting to become less dependent on medication and regain control of their own health and wellbeing

“I suffered with anxiety attacks for over 25 years and had taken medication consistently for 20 years. I felt that the medication was no longer a positive support for me and I wanted to find a non-medical option. Hypnotherapy worked for me.”

Other things I do at Inspired To Change, Maidstone East
Mind Over Meds
Having spent over 25 years working within the National Health Service as a pharmacist dispensing medicines and advice on a wide range of illnesses and conditions, and offering help and support in preventing and managing both mental and physical health concerns, I felt like there was more I could do for my patients than was possible in the time I had to spend with each of them.
It was time for a change, time to focus more closely on the reasons behind my patients’ physical and mental problems, rather than quickly ‘firefighting’ the worst of the crises.
And personally, time to do something that fitted in better with my family life, as well as providing me with a new learning challenge – so I retrained as a clinical hypnotherapist!
Since becoming a solution focused hypnotherapist, it has become ever more clear to me exactly how much our mental wellbeing impacts on our physical health, and vice versa – the two are so closely connected that it is virtually impossible to distinguish the impact of each on our overall health. It is fascinating to see how clients’ minor physical symptoms improve, even though that isn’t why I am working with them and how other clients weren’t worried about their mental health, or high stress levels, it was ‘just’ their IBS they wanted help with, yet both improved.
This inspired me to investigate more closely the link between our brains and our bodies, and to uncover how being aware of the connection between the two can really improve our health.
I have always strongly believed that each of us has the responsibility to take care of our own mental and physical health and that while medication can be an important part of that, there are other crucial things we can do to prevent ill health.
These blogs, and the work I do with clients as part of Inspired To Change, are my way of sharing these ideas with all of you.
