About Madi Kish
Hi, I’m Madi, a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist based in Tunbridge Wells, specialising in supporting late-diagnosed neurodivergent women experiencing burnout, anxiety, and overwhelm.
In 2021, deep in the throes of the pandemic, I came to a sudden realisation.
“I think I might have ADHD.”
And then two years later…
“I think I might be autistic too.”
Around 80% of autistic women remain undiagnosed by the age of 18, and my own neurodivergent journey only began in my late twenties following burnout and a diagnosis of anxiety and depression. Through both personal and professional experience, I fully understand the impact that years of masking, pushing through, and trying to fit into environments that don’t feel quite right can have on your mental wellbeing.
Today, I specialise in helping late-diagnosed neurodivergent women understand how their brain works, recover from neurodivergent burnout, reduce anxiety and overwhelm, rebuild their confidence, and feel more like themselves again through Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.
Many of the women I work with are the people who appear to be managing on the outside whilst privately feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, and wondering why life suddenly feels so much harder than it seems to for everyone else.
If that sounds familiar, please know you’re not alone. Many of my clients tell me they spent years believing they simply needed to try harder, when in reality they needed support that worked with their brain instead of against it.
I understand how difficult it can feel when you’re trying to meet expectations that were never designed with your needs in mind.
My approach is grounded in empathy, understanding, and adapting support around what works best for you. Together, we work towards understanding your brain, as well as reducing stress, rebuilding your confidence, developing greater self-compassion, and creating brain-friendly, practical tools that feel supportive rather than becoming another thing on your to-do list!
Before retraining as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, I spent several years as a primary school teacher, supporting children and their families. That experience shaped the way I communicate today, and I love helping clients understand the neuroscience behind stress and wellbeing in a way that feels practical, accessible, and easy to apply to everyday life.
I believe that when we learn to understand ourselves and work with our brains instead of against them, we create space to feel confident in advocating for what we need to live life more authentically.
What matters most to me is helping you feel freer within your own mind, experiencing more mental clarity and the relief that comes with realising you don’t have to spend every day pretending to be someone you’re not. When you work with me, the process is gentle, relaxed, supportive and achievable; therapy that actually helps you feel more like yourself again.
Whether you’re experiencing neurodivergent burnout, anxiety, stress, overthinking, or simply no longer feel like yourself, change is possible. You don’t have to keep battling with your brain on your own.
Book your free initial consultation session with me today and learn how you too can move forward with clarity and confidence and get one step closer to living the life that you truly deserve.

My Experience
My background in education has had a huge influence on the way I work with clients today. During my years as a primary school teacher, I developed a passion for helping people understand themselves, overcome challenges and build confidence. It also taught me the importance of adapting how information is shared, breaking down complex ideas, and explaining things in a way that feels practical, accessible and meaningful. These are skills I continue to use every day in my practice, helping my clients understand the neuroscience behind stress and wellbeing in a way that feels manageable and easy to apply. I once had a client ask me if I’d ever considered teaching, as she loved my brain explanations so much!
Today, I bring together my professional training in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, my teaching experience, and my own lived experience of neurodivergence to support my clients in a way that is both evidence-informed and deeply personal.
I have a particular interest in neurodivergent burnout, anxiety and stress, and I’m passionate about helping people understand what’s happening in their brains rather than feeling like they’re constantly battling against them. I believe that knowledge is empowering, which is why I love sharing the neuroscience behind stress and wellbeing in a way that actually makes sense.

More About Me
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a big believer in practising what I preach. Looking after your mental wellbeing isn’t about doing one big thing perfectly; it’s about finding the small, sustainable habits that help your brain feel calmer, more resilient and more like itself.
For me, that often looks like spending time doing something creative. I love painting and sewing, I’ve recently taken up the piano again after learning as a child, and I’m currently writing a children’s book that’s been sitting on my to-do list for years! I also love getting outdoors, spending time in nature and finding moments away from my phone (rare as that might be!). Those little things help keep my own stress bucket from overflowing, and they’re a reminder that looking after ourselves doesn’t have to feel like another job you have to tick off.
The same is true in my sessions. I don’t believe that therapy has to feel serious all the time. Some of the most meaningful moments with my clients have involved laughter, curiosity and celebrating the smallest wins. My sessions are relaxed, collaborative and tailored to you, with no judgement, no expectation to have all the answers, and no pressure to be anything other than yourself.
Above all, I want every client to leave each session feeling understood, hopeful and one step closer to becoming the happiest, most authentic version of themselves that they can be.
