Hi, I’m Emma.

I’m passionate about helping clients who are struggling with emotional overwhelm, chronic anxiety, and low confidence. If you’re experiencing these feelings, I want you to know, there is a way forward. You don’t have to stay stuck.

The important thing to understand is that you are not trapped in these feelings of overwhelming anxiety. The brain is always changeable, it has the incredible ability to adapt and change. Sometimes it just needs the right kind of support to help move it in a more helpful direction, so that anxiety no longer controls you or your life.

In our sessions, we’ll work together to deepen your understanding of why these unwanted feelings arise, while gently shifting focus toward what’s going well in your life. You’ll be supported to create your own small, manageable steps, and each session ends with a calming and restorative trance.

My Experience

In my Teaching job, before becoming a hypnotherapist, I experienced burnout, workplace stress, and anxiety first-hand. It was during this challenging time that I discovered Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.

Through it, I was able to regain a sense of control in my mind, and it changed my life. Inspired by this experience, I trained in the approach myself and now run my own practice alongside my teaching career.

Now, I have the privilege of working with people facing a wide range of anxieties.

Some clients feel anxious in all areas of their lives, while others deal with specific issues, such as driving anxiety, work-related stress, or health anxiety. Many experience physical symptoms like IBS, which often improve over the course of our work together.

I also support clients who feel overwhelmed by stress and are stuck in cycles of low mood.

No matter what you’re facing, we’ll approach your experience with compassion, understanding, and curiosity.

Together, we’ll deepen your understanding of why these feelings show up, while also gently shifting focus toward what’s going well in your life.

Seeing Emma after struggling with anxiety caused by work stress and a breakup has been one of the best things I could've done for myself. Emma was so unbelievably calming from start to finish and helped me get into positive habits such as writing my what's been good journal.Going into this I didnt think I'd improve this much this quickly but having someone to talk about whats been good about my week has really been so helpful. I cannot thank her enough for her help and support throughout the weeks, I will be going back in the near future as going to Emma's sessions has been the healthiest thing I've done for myself and her support has meant the world to me so thank you so much Emma.

Emma is amazing at her job! After suffering with insomnia and trying every supplement, HRT alterations, sleeping tablets, anti-histamines to supposedly make you feel drowsy (yes I tried everything known to man), I decided to try Hypnotherapy! I am now able to fall asleep, and not dread bed time! I don’t see my sleep routine as something to dread now, and this is because Emma changed the way I think and the way I talk about sleep. I didn’t know I had a “stress bucket” that was overflowing, causing my brain to basically keep me awake as I was so anxious about not being able to sleep. Emma has changed this, plus some. Each week we set a “small step” to help reduce the “stress bucket”, so it didn’t seem overwhelming. I don’t have a stressful life luckily, but I didn’t realise how lack of sleep had such a knock on effect with lots of other aspects of my life affecting the way I think. I can now fall asleep, and stay asleep, I don’t take sleeping tablets and I now don’t dread bed time. I would highly recommend this holistic approach to hypnotherapy and I can’t speak highly enough of Emma. Thank you Emma!

I saw Emma about a year ago for a frog phobia. At that time, I could not be anywhere near a frog, and it would cause me high anxiety.This weekend, I came face to face with a frog for the first time since my sessions. I am proud to say I was able to stand next to the frog without any fear. I would like to say a huge thank you to Emma. Something that others would think of as being very small has had a huge impact on my life and has been there since childhood. Through Emma's professional sessions, I feel I have now been able to conquer my fear, something which I thought I would never be able to do.

I had sessions with Emma over a period of 8 months, the outcome for me was better than I could have hoped. I had tried other versions of therapy and struggled with the focus being on issues. I had my first session with Emma yesterday and it was a really positive experience. Emma is really calming and knowledgeable. She has a presence that puts you at ease straight away.In the session, we set out what issues I want to work on and we set goals to achieve. The initial consultation focused on the science behind what Emma does and it was incredibly interesting and informative. I can’t wait to get to the following sessions.
